An argument over 500 fils cost Bahraini Mohammed Jassim Dossary his life yesterday, reports SARA SAMI.
The 38-year-old was killed in an attack after an argument with an Asian mechanic at a workshop in Suq W’aqif, Hamad Town.
The worker demanded BD1.500 for welding machine repairs but Mr Dossary insisted on paying BD1, sources told the GDN.
Following a heated exchange, the worker attacked him with a grinder.
Mr Dossary reportedly lay bleeding on the road for some time before he was helped.
He was declared dead at BDF Hospital where he was rushed with severe neck injuries, CID acting director general Tariq bin Daina said. The worker has been arrested and referred to Public Prosecution.
