Police car set ablaze

Two policemen were injured after masked thugs attacked a police patrol vehicle last night at Abu Saebaa’ village. An Interior Ministry statement said the attackers threw a Molotov cocktail at the passing vehicle around 10.30pm and fled the scene.
Abdulla Ahmed Trada and Doray Thabt were rushed to the BDF Hospital with burns to hands and feet.
Special police forces rushed to the scene and cordoned off the area. The Budaiya Road was closed to traffic for a short period.
